Everything is still to play for in the 2025 ACED Junior Golf Tour Order of Merits as the leading contenders battle it out for the podium positions in the six categories going into the last qualifier at Barnard Castle Golf Club on July 24th.
With the leading players in each category gaining a ‘FEDEX style’ advantage for the Grand Final at Blackwell Grange Golf Club on August 12th, four of the six divisional pacesetters have just a 10 point lead with one event remaining.
Hunley Hall’s Owen Walker (450 points) holds a slender cushion at the top of the Under 13 Boys standings from Blackwell Grange’s Ellis Singh, who has won twice this year.
It’s exactly the same story in the Under 13 Girls as Lilah Underdown (Blackwell Grange) sits first by 10 points from two-time winner, and club-mate, Olivia Harland.
In the Under 15 Boys, Blackwell Grange duo Tobias Slade (360) and Freddie Harland (350) are currently the players to catch at the summit, with Barnard Castle’s Joseph Rutherford a further 40 points back in third.
One victory and two runners-up finishes has helped Toby Archbold (Blackwell Grange) move to the top of the Under 18 Boys table on 380 points, but Gosforth’s Oscar Brown (370) and Blackwell Grange’s George Stephenson (34) are within striking distance.
Although Emily Wakenshaw has won twice this season, the Billingham golfer’s advantage in the Under 18 Girls is only 20 points as Lilly Davis (Durham City) lies second, with Houghton Le Spring’s Lilly-Ann Phillips in third on 430.
The biggest lead is in the Under 10s, as Reggie Butcher’s consistency this year sees the Eaglescliffe member sit 60 points clear of Benjamin Fodden (Blackwell Grange) and Giorgio Glendinning (Teesside) in the standings.
